Site Design Consultation for Optimized Localization

Often times when designing a new Website or integrating a new CMS product, there are a variety of techniques that can be implemented to ensure that any future globalization effort is as easy and efficient as possible.

One example, in designing e-Learning Flash files, storing the content strings externally dramatically eases the burden of localization. Another example, if on a CMS platform, it is wise capture the character limitations of text boxes in the CMS templates so that the translations are guaranteed to fit within the allotted size parameters.

It has been our experience that a half-day meeting with our technology team during the site planning/design phase will dramatically impact the localization process and can save immeasurable time, money and effort on the back end.
