GlobalLink TeamSite Adaptor

Interwoven TeamSite is a premier Content Management System allowing users to design, create, manage and deploy web-based content in a powerful software platform. Most of the time, the size of the web content in Interwoven TeamSite is not small at all. It requires extensive planning and implementation to combine both content creation and content localization processes in such a platform.

GlobalLink TeamSite Adaptor integrates with Interwoven TeamSite through the published JNI Interfaces or Web Services. Through the integration, GlobalLink then is capable of reading and writing content in and out of a connected TeamSite server, allowing users to select, submit content for localization into any arbitrary number of target languages and to automatically retrieve localized content and to place them into the desired Data Store, Branch, WorkArea and/or folder while mirroring the same data structure as the source content, including its extended attribute, if any. Such automation reduces hideous and error-prone tasks to import and export content in TeamSite and provide external vendors quick access to content without the need to access TeamSite.

In addition, through UI Customization Kit provided by Interwoven, GlobalLink can be installed to provide embedded UIs within TeamSite Content Server's Web-based UI. Through integrated UIs, a configured group of TeamSite users then will have access to a "GlobalLink Menu" in TeamSite and operate as if GlobalLink is part of the TeamSite user experience to eliminate the need to learn a new software application to manage localization.

In order to better manage such chaotic web content development processes, implementing TeamSite Workflow(s) is the best way to rein all resources in to contribute in a more efficient way. Localization resources can be easily integrated within any existing TeamSite workflow by adding an external workflow task where all content will be automatically aggregated in GlobalLink and can be sent out for localization; upon return, all localized content can then be initiated into a configured workflow to provide seamless workflow integration.
